Use MailboxLayer through Corsair: one client, typed API calls, local DB sync. This plugin only ever calls mailboxlayer over HTTPS, since every request carries your access_key and the email address being checked as query parameters. mailboxlayer’s free-tier plans reject HTTPS entirely (API error 105, https_access_restricted) and only work over plain HTTP, so this plugin requires a paid mailboxlayer plan. What you get:
  • 1 typed API operations
  • 1 synced entity (emailChecks) for fast .search() / .list()
